to List Charles Wang, a former portfolio manager at Bosera Asset Management and Acadian Asset Management, will open his own computer-driven hedge fund strategy in Hong Kong at the end of this month.
Wang, who started Academia Capital Management in Shenzhen last July, will open Academia China Absolute Return Fund in Hong Kong with $100 million to $200 million, he said in a telephone interview.
In Hong Kong, Wang’s fund will be part of OP Investment Management’s so-called platform, which provides startup managers with office space, infrastructure, and helps with choosing service providers including lawyers and prime brokers, Wang said.
