to List China Security Daily (Huang Yingying) In the private fund forum held by Simuwang recently, Li Wei, Executive Vice President of OP Investment Management, commented that with the rapid development of China’s financial industry and accumulation of wealth, global asset allocation will become a continuous trend in the next few decades.
Li Wei pointed out that in the coming 30 to 50 years, as China is gaining more bargaining power globally, China’s financial industry will keep growing. The hedge fund industry has achieved large-scale, standardization and transparency during the past two to three years. However, neither single-market asset class nor single-market strategy can meet the demand of investment in such a big market. Instead, it is necessary to have both global market and global financial products. Meanwhile, Chinese investors will inevitably make global investment and consumption when their wealth accumulates to a certain level.
Li Wei also said, the so-called “capital outflow” is Chinese professional fund managers proactively go overseas, seeking investment opportunities and returns and earning foreigner’s money. It is a good thing.
