to List On 25 Sept, China announced to combine QFII and RQFII and the measures will be effective on 1 Nov 2020. What’s noteworthy is, under the new regulations, the investment scope for qualified foreign investors will be expanded to include more asset types, including NEEQ securities, private investment funds, asset-backed securities, financial futures, commodity futures, options, bond repo transactions, margin trading and securities financing on stock exchanges, and securities lending. The long wait for this easing will be finally over that new opportunities for private equity funds emerge. To capture these upcoming opportunities, OPIM and Jimu (積募) co-organize a webinar, with guests from DBS and Shanghai Yuan Tai Law Offices to discuss the key points of new measures and case studies on application.
