Overview
Investment Objectives

The investment objective of the Fund is to invest in global capital markets and capture growth opportunities. The Fund intends to structure a diversified and balanced risk/reward portfolio that aims to protect portfolio downside risk.

Investment Strategy

The Fund will run a low net exposure equity long/short strategy and mainly focus on China and U.S. listed companies that have China related exposures. The Fund will mainly trade in cash equities, swaps, index futures, currencies and stock options. The geographical scope will be focused primarily in the Greater China and US markets, but the Fund will also selectively invest in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea and European companies that have China related exposure.

 

There is no minimum or fixed allocation to any one asset class, geography or investment theme and the Fund’s exposures will be actively managed.

Portfolio Manager
Mr. Xi Luo

The Fund is managed by Mr. Xi Luo, who is the Director and Founder of Prime Lens Capital. Prior, he was the Portfolio Manager at Parantoux Capital and was responsible for portfolio performance and risk. Before, Mr. Luo was an Equity Research Analyst at China Renaissance and initially, Mr. Luo began his career as a portfolio associate at China Life Franklin Asset Management. He received his Bachelors of Science in Risk Management from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2008.
